Dear Parent or Guardian:

Once again this year, Wicomico County Public Schools is pleased to announce that we are participating in a federal program called CEP (Community Eligibility Provision). The program offers all Wicomico students breakfast and lunch at no charge.

Although breakfast and lunch are free for all, and we have waived most fees, we still need families to complete the Household Data Collection Form (https://household_data.wicomicoschools.org/) to assist with grant funding, adding community schools, and other possible funding increases for the district.

The charging of meals to student accounts will not be necessary this school year. However, a la carte items will be available for purchase through cash transactions or deducted from a student's My Payments Plus account on a school-by-school basis.

Please Note: Negative balances on meal accounts from previous years will be carried over into this school year. If a student's meal account is negative from a previous year, parents will be notified via automated phone calls, letters, and emails.

To assist you in managing your student's meal account, parents can view a student's purchase history, set low balance notifications, and add funds to a student's account electronically at www.mypaymentsplus.com. Upon registering your account with your student's ID number (not their PIN number), you will have free up-to-date access. A 4.75% fee is assessed only when you add funds to the account. Please allow up to 24 hours for new funds to be posted to a student's account.

Feel free to contact the Department of Food and Nutrition Services office with any questions, comments, or concerns by phone at 410-677-4419 or email wcpsfns@wcboe.org.
